Chairmanship of CENELEC TC 82
In March 2017 Francesco Groppi was appointed Chairman of the technical committee CLC/TC 82
"Solar photovoltaic energy systems"

With the CEI - Alessandro Volta Award the Italian Electrotechnical Committee gives due
recognition to the members of the Committees and Subcommittees of the CEI that stood out for
their dedication, engagement and competence in the interest of standardization and related
activities.
The ceremony of award to Eng. Francesco Groppi took place in the second part of the Ordinary General
Meeting of the CEI on May 15, 2015 in Milan, at AMBROSIANEUM Cultural Foundation, Room
Falk, Via delle Ore 3.
